This bowl of noodle soup will be my first home-made Tonkatsu udon. For those who might don't know ( as japanese food aficionado might know), Ton means pork and katsu simply means cutlets. Udon was just merely my idea to mix in this bowl of soup. Japanese mostly serves it with rice instead of noodles. Udon would be my preference to make it looks more perfect. The combination of udon and tonkatsu simply indicates the "japanity" style of it.
